Most Herbs are easy to grow, and once planted, need little care besides watering.

Most Herbs need full Sun, at 6-8 hours of direct sunlight.

Make sure to soak the soil, and let the soil dry out in between watering.

Trim often!

The more you cut, the more they grow, but make sure to not remove more than 1/3 of the plant.

There are certain Herbs that flower, and others that need to have the flowers removed as soon as you see them, because once they go to bloom the taste will diminish and the plant will stop growing and spend its energy on the flowers.

Flowering Herbs that need flowers cut off-

  • Chives

  • Spearmint

  • Mint

  • Sage
